Alongside the Busan Economic Promotion Agency, COENS and other leading Korean firms formed the vanguard of a new trade delegation to Vladivostok as part of a development initiative in the
Russian Far East this past July.
And now, COENS has returned to Russia, this time to Sakhalin, to promote its integrated service solutions to both established businesses and entrepreneurs looking to tap into the potential of the
Russian Far East.
From December 5-8, COENS supported ten Busan-based companies and parleyed with dozens of Russian buyers looking to cement trade partnerships with Korean manufacturing, transportation
and logistics concerns, as intraregional commerce begins to take off while Russian trade infrastructure in the area gradually improves.
The gathering proved to be an unqualified success for all parties involved, and especially for COENS, which was designated an official PCO (Professional Convention Organizer) for the
Commonwealth of Independent States’ commercial functions in the region. The designation recognizes COENS’ excellent track record in the provision of events solutions, and better positions COENS to be a regional leader in conference planning and execution.
“Our new relationship with CIS shows that COENS’ expertise in event management is broadly acknowledged,” said Steve Seo, COENS Executive Vice President. “We hope to use this opportunity as a springboard to becoming an industry leader in the field.”
