COENS has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Busan Economic Promotion Agency (BEPA) & the Directorate for the Implementation of the Federal programs of Social and Economic Development (SED) of the Kuril Islands of the Sakhalin Region. The MOU signing ceremony was concluded at a convention held in Vladivostok last month and was attended amongst 

others by COENS CEO, Mr Y C Kim.

The agreement is seen as an important step in the establishment of a network to promote industrial exchange between Busan and Sakhalin. The network would focus on the promotion of Sakhalin’s 

‘Provincial Development Project’ and particularly promote ship-building, construction of hydraulic structures and construction of seismic buildings and structures.

COENS is to play a pivotal role in developing a long-term comprehensive relationship with relevant companies in Busan and Sakhalin,   attracting and planning international conferences and creating synergy within businesses to assist and benefit from each other.
