COENS today announced the renewal of its support services contract with North Sea Rigs.

North Sea Rigs is currently building a series of GM4-D design rigs with larger and more up to date drilling facilities as well as improved layout and space. The series consists of 3 rigs namely; 

‘North Dragon’, ‘Beacon Atlantic’ and ‘Beacon Pacific’. These rigs are currently in different stages of the project cycle.

North Sea Rigs had signed the initial contract with COENS entities in South Korea and China for the provision of Expat Consultancy, Local Chinese Manpower and Procurement services for the above mentioned projects effective until end of 2015.

Earlier this year, North Sea Rigs had expressed their decision to continue to contract COENS for supporting these projects until the end of 2016. The extended contract came into effect on 21st 

September 2015.
