COENS, Korea’s leading integrated service provider, has announced an agreement with U.K.-based Ecotricity to represent their products in Korea in an official capacity. The British firm manufactures environmentally-friendly micro-turbines for homes and business to generate their own green energy.

Following a co-exhibition in conjunction with Ecotricity at the ENTECH conference in 2017, the two firms partnered to realize the market potential of green energy technologies on the Korean 

peninsula.

 “Since we have been appointed as Britwind’s exclusive sales representative in Korea, our primary goal at this point is to expand into the domestic wind power market in line with the government’s 

30-20 policy (20% of  energy produced by renewable by 2030),” said Steve Seo, COENS Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. “We plan to target a niche market for small wind 

turbines utilizing advanced European technologies and products, and we intend to participate in both national and private projects.”
